Settle in for November’s gathering of Bound by Healing, where we bring books to life through shared reflection, conversation, and community. We’ll meet on the second Sunday of the month from 1–3 PM at Bound to Happen Books on the second level.
⚠️ Accessibility note: The second level is only accessible by stairs. There is no elevator access.
Our November selection: Memento Mori by Joanna Ebenstein.
Unlike a one-sitting read, this is both a workbook and book club selection designed to span 12 weeks. Memento Mori invites us to explore mortality, memory, and meaning through guided exercises and thought-provoking prompts. It’s not just about reading — it’s about actively engaging with the themes of death, loss, and legacy, and allowing them to shape how we live.
How we’ll approach it:
In November, we’ll meet to discuss the sections we’ve reached together by that point.
We’ll then pause in December and return in January to check in, share insights, and continue the journey the book invites us on.
✨ Bonus: If you purchase your copy of Memento Mori from Bound to Happen Books and let them know it’s for book club, you’ll receive 10% off.
Come ready to reflect, share, and connect — whether you’ve filled in every prompt or are simply curious about the conversations the book stirs up.
